Suki has completed two features with partner Michael Galinsky: HALF-COCKED (1995), video and soundtrack released by Matador Records, and RADIATION (1999), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and has continued on to 35 other festivals worldwide. Suki and Michael are also currently developing three documentary features with partner David Beilinson, due out in 2005.

Suki has directed and edited dozens of short pieces for internet clients sonypictures.com, AtomicPop.com, Circuit DVD Magazine, and Insound.com. Along with Sadie Benning, Miranda July and Elizabeth Subrin, Suki became the recipient of a grant to fund young women filmmakers from noted photographer/filmmaker Robert Frank, which she has used to develop and produce two documentary portraits.

Suki and Michael were asked to participate with "Horns and Halos" at The International Film Seminar's showcase of documentary films, The Flaherty Film Seminar, along with Sam Green and Bill Siegel with "The Weather Underground" and Jem Cohen with "Benjamin Smoke" and "Instrument."

She co-produced and edited the electronic press kit for Peter Bogdanovich's comeback film for Lion's Gate, "The Cat's Meow," starring Kirsten Dunst and Eddie Izzard.

MICHAEL GALINSKY Director Cinematographer

Along with partner Suki Hawley, Michael has made three feature films, HORNS AND HALOS (2002) HALF-COCKED (1995) and RADIATION (1999). The two latter films both deal with the independent music scene. Michael is a founding member of the New York band Sleepyhead and co-founder of the band Laptop. In 1997, he co-produced two segments for MSNBC's show Edgewise - one of which was shown opening night at 1998's Rotterdam International Film Festival.

His work as a professional photographer includes photos on over 30 album covers and in magazines such as Rolling Stone, Seventeen, Ray Gun, Puncture, and The Sun. His first book of photographs, Scraps(1999), has been praised as uniquely inspired by the Village Voice, Ray Gun, and The New York Press, and in 1999 he had 12 major exhibitions in the US and Europe.

DAVID BEILINSON Producer

Besides serving as co-producer on HORNS AND HALOS, David has produced and edited over ten episodes of the critically acclaimed PBS series IN THE MIX. His show ECSTASY was the recipient of the Entertainment Industries Council 2002 Prism Award
